Madrid Spain and how it connects to class

Madrid Spain is related to our studies in world history this year in multiple ways. During the age of exploration  king Ferdinand and queen Isabella had a major role during this time period. They had financed the most famous explorers voyage to the new world. They had financed Christopher colombus. This relates back to Madrid due to them being rulers of spain and the capital of spain being Madrid. That is one of the ways that Madrid spain could be related back to our world history class.
